Watermelon Cabinet

Patrice collects watermelons. At least that's what her friends believe, and we bring them from all over. Of course mini shows abound in melonabilia, so I squirreled away this assortment and eventually put them together in a cabinet.

Yes, it's a Michael's hutch. I painted it lurid red and green, then gave it a wash of off-white and a little sanding. The leaves are punched from painted paper connected by inked-on vines.
